Pesmel will deliver an automated fluff pulp roll handling and packing system to Klabin’s new plant in Ortigueira in Parana, Brazil as part of Valmet´s large pulp drying line delivery. This high-capacity fluff pulp roll handling system includes a full roll handling and tracking system from the winders through central wrapping, with two stretch film packing machines to the warehouse. The start-up of this greenfield plant is scheduled for the beginning of 2016.
This delivery is related to the cooperation agreement made earlier this year between Pesmel and Valmet, according to which Pesmel acts as Valmet’s exclusive contract supplier in roll handling, packing, and storing technology. This cooperation has started well in a positive and active atmosphere, and has already generated several common projects both in capital and rebuild business during its first year.
