Rebuilds of roll wrapping and handling area to Chile
Cartulinas CMPC S.A. has selected Pesmel to supply rebuilds of its roll wrapping and handling area for its Maule mill.
Pesmel’s delivery of the rebuild of the wrapping machine consists of adding robots for head and label applications. Modification of the operator interface as well as safety is also included. The wrapping line will be fully automated after the rebuild.
The other part of the delivery scope is extension of the conveyor system by adding new conveyor lines to optimize roll flows and to meet capacity requirements between winder, roll warehouse, sheeters, and the roll wrapping machine.
Delivery will take place in the second quarter of the year 2016.
