Mr. Samu Rantala will resume the position of head of sales, Tire industry, as of May 1, 2021. He will replace Mr. Jouni Räisänen, who will retire after a 40-year career in the automatic warehousing sector. Jouni’s has held various key positions in prominent industry-logistics companies during his career. Since 2003, he has been employed by Pesmel, most recently as head of sales in the automobile tire industry segment. Upon retirement, Jouni will continue working as an inhouse consultant in developing Pesmel’s high-bay tire storage business.
Samu Rantala has an extensive career in various engineering and development positions involving demanding ICT systems and industry warehousing. He has played a key role in the development of Pesmel’s TransTire automated tire warehousing solution, and most recently has been in charge of project execution of the first TransTire storage and logistics system at the Nokian Tyres Vsevolozhsk (St. Petersburg) manufacturing facility.
